Windmill
Photographs
by Local Artist Marg Dent
Marge Dent is a long time resident of
Scurry County and was a teacher for 25 years here.
Her hobby is windmill photography and
landscapes. Since retiring and joining the Over the Hill Gang, Marge
has spent more time
photographing.
"Living
in the country in the shadow of a working windmill, I saw it one day
against the sunset, ran for my camera, an old Nikon EM SLR with a
70-210mm zoom lens, and began my hobby.”
This exhibit is composed of windmills
in Texas.
These photographs are not altered in any way except in size for
framing. She seldom uses a
filter except a PL (polarizing) filter for clouds and water.
